Title:   Classroom Teaching Assistant - Elementary - Emotional Support

 

Reports to:  Supervisor of Special Education and Building Principal of J.M. Grasse Elementary

 

Available:   8/19/24

 

Terms of Employment:  $ 21.00 / hr., 10-month full-time, hourly rate in accordance with PESPA Collective Bargaining Agreement 

 

Description:    Assist in the delivery of students’ educational programs under the direction of the Special Education Teacher.

 

Pre-Employment Paperwork Requirements:   Must possess 2-year or 4-year college degree or PA State Para-Professional Certification

• PA State Police Clearance (Act 34)
• Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
• FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114)
• School Personnel Health Form (Physical and TB test)
• PDE 6004 Form (Act 24)
• Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release Form(s) (Act 168)
