Title: Personal Care Assistants - Special Education - K-12

Reports to:  Supervisor of Special Education and the Building Principal

Available:   ASAP

Terms of Employment:  $21.00/hr., 60-day probationary period applies,  hourly rate in accordance with PESPA Collective Bargaining Agreement

Description:     Assist student with meeting academic and/or behavioral goals. Assist student with any supports/modifications needed to access facilities and curriculum, including physical support and adapting teaching materials.

Requirements:   Must possess 2-year or 4-year college degree or PA State Para-Professional Certification

Pre-Employment Paperwork Requirements:   

• PA State Police Clearance (Act 34)
• Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
• FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114)
• School Personnel Health Form (Physical and TB test)
• PDE 6004 Form (Act 24)
• Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release Form(s) (Act 168)
